Yeah, already.
I think I'm gonna have Spreading My Wings be told in alternating points of view. Like, except for the beginning. The next one I want to put in Vinnie's point of view. He's really something, huh? And that ending line "I know where Daddy is."Oohh.
So, next chapter will be Vinnie's point of view and then Jasper's and they'll go back and forth until I toss in someone else.

Spreading My Wings- Beginning!
"Mom," Jasper calls into the house, his stomach growling simultaneously. Kelly comes out of their small kitchen, holding a platter of cookies. The smile on her face falls when she realizes that Jasper came home alone. No friends. He takes a cookie, watching the floor as though it is the most interesting thing in the world. Kelly gently tugs on the small ponytail he has up.
"Why this color?" Kelly says, a very sad tone mangling her normally sweet voice.
Here we go, Jasper thinks, again. "You know I hate this hair color. He had this color." Tears streak down Kelly's dainty face. "Why, Jasper? Do you want to look like that?"
"I like the color." He say, unconsciously playing with a strand that fell out of the ponytail. It's always the same routine, but he's kind of hoping she'll cave, tell him something about that high school sweetheart that gave him half of his genes.
Sniffling, she tries to stop the flow of tears. "You should be happy that you don't know him, but instead you go out and do this." She loves him, he knows, but overreacts way too much to a simple act as dying his hair. A knock on the door causes Kelly to tense before wiping her eyes and answering the door. Standing there with cuffs running up his ears and two studs in his ear lobe is Vincent. Kelly smiles and tries making small talk with Vincent, but he's here for a single thing. Jasper.
"I hear you're fifteen now." Vincent's eyes, deep pools of what Jasper swears is black, feel like they're tearing the teen to his very molecule.
"Y-yeah, I guess." Jasper looks everywhere except Vincent. "What's this about, Vincent? I-I have loads of homework." Kelly's cooking dinner, unwilling to help her son escape from Vincent.
"Tsk, tsk, I told you to call me Uncle Vinnie."
"Uncle Vincent."
"Now you're making me sound old!" Vincent throws his hands into the air and looks exasperated.
"Uncle Vinnie sounds like I like you." At this, Vincent pouts, looking much like a five year old who was told that no, they cannot have a cookie before dinner.
"Fair enough, I guess." Vincent mumbles, toying with one of the two piercings on his lower lip. "But," he pauses a long time, for dramatic effect. "I know where Daddy is."

IDEAS #1
Okay, these are my ideas, thoughts, and tosses of characters. That's the quick, simple explanation.
So, why take away from the continuous stories? I'm thinking of writing something with a little more story and plot and symbolism and meaning that the other...two written here. Here's a QUICK, quick, quick lay out of a few characters.
Maylyn
Maylyn...will be...not the main character because her name is slightly annoying. She'll be a bubbly, social 17 year-old junior in high school. Hair...hair...what should her hair be? Hum...she's bubbly...but blond would be cliche...hum...OH! Light, light brown. and her eyes? Uhhhmmm (I swear, not all the characters will be like this, this is just to show my thought process)... they will be...dark, brown with a BURST of green, but not enough to make them hazel. Humm... Need to make her seem a bit more...real, huh? She listens to the stuff that can be found on, like, the top 40 radio stations.
Jasper
Jasper is a fifteen-year-old freshman in high school (middle of the year birthday). He's quiet, so quiet that he seems to push people away with the wall of silence. Something about him doesn't seem exactly...human. His blue eyes seem to have streaks of light surging through them if stared into too long. Platinum blond hair covers one eye while the rest is dyed a copper red. The copper red part is long enough to be pulled into a short ponytail. When someone actually talks to him, it's obvious he feels insecure and awkward. (Yeah, he's probably one of the main characters)
Kelly
I had to use a...more boring name for this character. Not that I don't like the name Kelly, I just think it's kinda boring. ANYWAY! Jasper's mommy. She's thirty-two years of age. Jasper gets his platinum blond hair from her. Her hair come down to around her waist. Her job is something artistic (though I'm not sure what yet) and she hates the color Jasper decided to dye his hair. Mainly, she wears a lot of white.
Uncle Vincent
I pinkie promise I'll at least explain this dude's name. Just not here.
Vincent is 16, home schooled, and yet everyone's crush. I'm pretty sure he's got at least one tattoo (I don't know yet). He has black hair and eyes so dark a brown that they look black. He has snake bite piercings (bottom lip, one on each side) and piercings all the way up the cartilage of his ears. Believes in planning his life only to the next weekend and even manages mocking those who perfectly plan out everything in their life.
Amabel
Amabel has pale, almost white, blue hair, but the same dark eyes as Vincent. Cuts run up and down both of her arms. She looks only thirteen years old. Her reactions are very airy and relaxed. A small tattoo of a butterfly takes up about 4 inches on her ankle.
And now I'm pretty sure an IDEAS #2 and #3 are gonna pop up, explaining more characters, but these are all the ones I have currently. YAY! I think we'll call this this story Spreading My Wings until I think of something better!

It Never Matters
"i need you" the text I send to her says. Need her? To reply, of course. Need someone to act like they care. My phone vibrates, she's replied...but I'm still holding my breath.
"What? My boy is over." He's more important, you see, than me. So, whatever I say now is just an interruption to whatever they're doing, which is probably just because they really shouldn't be together. There's no chemistry.
"Nvm." The razor is then suddenly eating up my skin, leaving nasty, deep, long cuts behind. Using my left hand to cut up my right wrist is how it's been for weeks now, even though I'm right handed. Make a sound? Not I. Tears, though, fall from my tired eyes. What a useless little pig... Can't even bite your tongue over minor flaws in a perfect life, can you? The cuts race up my arm in a deadly dance. Finally, finally, the monsters have quieted down and I slip it away.
It never matters how bad the pain is before, it all fades to nothing as a new concern arises...How to hide the pain. I pull on a hoodie and step out of my room, suddenly able to tolerate this world for a few moments longer. Finally, she texts me, wondering what was so wrong.
"Don't worry about it, im good now." See, no matter how big the problem if I can hide that something is wrong, the problem stops mattering. It usually makes someone happy that I can keep this false smile. Whatever the main problem was, at the end it never matters. The problem could be something that freaked me out at the time, something like getting my first crush, but it doesn't seem to have happened after the tense moments where the razor and the hope that someone will call or text, saying they care, is all I know.
Going back into my room, I look up at the blank white ceiling, blood pulsing to my new cuts. Guilt finally settles in and I pick up my phone. "Im trying," the words start flowing, "to get better, but i keep messing up." I send it to her. It never matters, never matters...always matters.

If We Were A Movie
Glancing over to the driver as he leans back, calm relaxed, I realize this is how it's suppose to feel. Everything is, finally, right. Cue corny music and sunset lighting. He eyes, a beautiful blue that has a sparkle that makes anyone feel free, catch mine. "What are you happy about?" It's a stupid question, but I can't bring myself to be mad about it.
"I feel...freed." A grin reaches those eyes and a laugh breaks out of him. It sounds...rusty, as though it was forgotten for a while. Then, the roof of the car's down, and I'm standing on the seat, screaming. A scream that also feels very right, also feels freeing. Finally, as my throat starts feeling sore from yelling, I plop down in my seat, laughing.
"Your hair's a mess." He can feel it too, the pure freedom. We never have to go back. Sure, we have no clue where we're going, but that's not the point. We're free. Fumbling over words, we try to sing to the radio. Laughter pushes itself free from its cage. How long has it been since we laughed? Surely not since Mom died. My mom.
Finally, we stop at the edge of a forest. The greens seem greener than anything I've ever seen. I take off, running through the trees and bushes and trying so hard to jump over fallen logs. He chases after me, laughing and shouting about how I'll get lost. There's a clearing the middle of the forest. Isn't there always? I stop here, letting him catch me, flinging his arms around my waist, laughing. Without meaning to, our mouths collide together. It's not great; neither of us had kissed before, but it was all we need. Pulling away, he rests his head on my forehead. When did he get taller? "We're free." Both of us scream it as loud as we can and then fall onto the soft, soft grass, laughing because our lives cannot get any better. Well, maybe if we had a place to stay. Getting up, we take the other's hand, and wonder over to a small creek flowing nearby. He lets go and takes off his shoes and socks. I do the same. My feet rest on the water with it brushing the bottoms while his dangled in the water.
"You know, if we were a movie, I think now I would ask you to marry me with some silly speal about how we've already been through everything together." I laugh. Us, a movie. "But we're too gross to be a movie and so I'm not going to ask you to marry me." He stands and I follow. Dashing through the forest, with me chasing him, it feels like a game of tag...until I realize how lost I really am.
"James?" I scream out. "This isn't funny, James!" The sun is drooping in the sky. A rustle comes behind me, but when I look, nothing. "James!! Just come out, please!" Tears, warm and salty, flood from my eyes, down my cheeks, down, down, down to the forest floor.
And then...the pleads won't come. Looking down, I see a knife, probably through my lung, and James, his blue eyes ice. "You're wondering why, Alexandria." His soft lips rest on my forehead. "Money...actual freedom. I can't tell you what I mean, you should be happy." He kisses me and begins slowly sliding off my dress. Protesting in anyway does not come to my mind. James...I've wanted James for the longest of times now. Finally, I have him and it feels...amazing. A smile graces his lips once again, a sharp pain in my chest, "If we were a movie, this couldn't happen, Alexandria."
